We are no longer sharing or posting on Instagram. At the heart of Cherry Blossom and Tweed was a desire to create and support a community of knitters, crochet'rs and all crafters. We used Instagram to help people find out who we were and because we were led to believe we couldn't not do so as a new business. But it was always with a sense of unease that we were contributing to a potentially harmful environment. Therefore, we have decided to sign off from Instagram and will not engage with any social media until we can find a platform created with its users and communities in mind - to foster learning, understanding and acceptance. This is a very personal decision and in no way a critique of our suppliers, fellow wool shops, customers and artists who continue to have positive engagements on Instagram

To our in-person customers and followers, we hope this is a moment to connect in person. Please feel free to pop by - just to say hi, exchange a smile and know there is an amazing and welcoming community outside the limits of these artificial spaces.
