SCARLETT
SCARLETT is a very soft yarn, 100% cotton, that its appearance , its swelling and its softness make it surprisingly close to the qualities of a wool yarn. It is particularly suitable for lightweight demi-season and summer knitwear. From a single strand, two successive twists make it possible to obtain this yarn in 6 strands, which is knitted with needles 4..5 to 5mm.. SCARLETT can be machine washed (cotton program 30/40°) with or without fabric softener, without spinning and if possible with flat drying.

Composition
100% fine cotton

Metreage ~70m / 50g

Needle size Ø 4,5-5 mm

MERLIN BOBINEAU
MERLIN BOBINEAU is a very fine yarn, made from 100% natural linen, and very resistant. In addition to its natural appearance and its resistance and longevity properties, this natural fibre grown in the North West of France also has remarkable health properties. It is a light and elegant yarn, pleasant to wear, very suitable for light summer knits. MERLIN BOBINEAU is also very popular with weavers and upholsterers. MERLIN BOBINEAU is an assembly of two strands, dyed in a range of colors that are both luminous and soft.

Composition
100% pure linen

Metreage ∼187m / 25g

Needle size Ø 2-2,5 mm

SUPER TWEED
SUPER TWEED is one of Fonty's signature yarns. Composed of 95% fine wool, which provides softness and elasticity, and 5% Mohair fibre which gives a shiny appearance and bulk, SUPER TWEED is a carded yarn with an extraordinary feel.

SUPER TWEED is made of 100% natural fibres. Its coloured buttons are exclusively made of dyed natural wool,. The main fibre is dyed in flock, before being transformed into yarn, and the buttons are added to an already pigmented material. This raw material dyeing process rather than yarn pigmentation also makes it possible to create 3 subtly degraded colours for each dyeing pass, by diluting the dyed flock with unbleached flock. This deliberate choice of a more restrictive and complex manufacturing method makes it possible to reduce dyeing operations, and therefore their ecological impact, while guaranteeing consistent colour combinations.

Composition
95% fine wool
5% kid mohair

Metreage ∼105m / 50g

Needle size Ø 5 mm

GENGIS KHAN
The GENGIS KHAN 2 yarn is made exclusively from yak down originating from the "Khangai Mountains Breeders Cooperative", an eco-responsible and fair trade local organisation set up by Fonty in Mongolia with the technical support of AVSF (Agronomists and Veterinarians Without Borders). The yaks are combed in the spring by Mongolian herders, and after sorting, a little less than 100g of down per animal and per year are harvested and transformed into yarn by Fonty.

Composition
100% down of yak from Arkhangai

Metreage ∼150m/ 25g

Needle size Ø 2-2,5 mm
