Laine Publishing
Laine Publishing is a publishing house based in Tampere, Finland. It was founded in 2016 by Jonna Helin and Sini Kramer out of an urge to create an aesthetic, informative and inspiring magazine for knitters. What started as a small company of two women passionate about redefining the knitting scene has grown into one of the world’s most recognised and cherished independent book publishers.
Laine publishes books on knitting, crafts, food and lifestyle, as well as the international knit and lifestyle magazine Laine. While most books are published in English and Finnish, translation rights are sold worldwide making the publications approachable to a wide audience.
Laine draws influence from the beauty of the everyday, cherishes sustainability as well as diversity and wants to create timeless publications that last a lifetime — and beyond.
